HOD’s Message
Welcome to the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Vaagdevi Engineering College, Warangal. Established in 2008 under the aegis of Viswambhara Educational Society. Approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), our department earned autonomous status in 2023. This empowers us to craft industry-aligned curricula and drive research and innovation. Our B. Tech program began with 60 seats in 2008, grew to 240 in 2013, and stabilized at 120 from 2022 onward. We also offer an M. Tech in VLSI System Design, launched in 2013 with 24 seats and expanded to 30 in 2022. Backed by experienced faculty, state-of-the-art laboratories, and a balanced emphasis on theory and hands-on practice, we deliver academic excellence and prepare engineers to excel in industry and research. I invite you to join us and thrive in the ever-evolving field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
