The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), launched in 2015 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (now the Ministry of Education), ranks higher educational institutions across India.

Vaagdevi Engineering College has applied for NIRF 2024–2025 under the following categories and is awaiting the results.
